Green Giant Arborvitae, is a Western red cedar -Japanese Arborvitae hybrid, (pic. on right ), fast growing, very deer resistant, these are planted at our nursery come see them they're beautiful. Plant 6 feet apart .Excellent plant for screening .Full to part sun, [2-3 foot yr. ave. growth !!! ] Available container grown, up to 5 ft. tall. Those pictured above right are planted 7 ft. apart
Leyland Cypress is a Monterey Cypress -Alaskan Cedar hybrid.(not pic.), somewhat deer resistant, road salt spray tolerant, not for very windy ,exposed sites. 2- 3 foot yr ave. growth
Available container grown up to 4 foot tall.
Spruce highest deer resistance, plant 8-16 feet apart depending on specific goals .
Blue Spruce:growth approx 1 foot a year,usually blue hue
Serbian Spruce: green on top of needle varigated underside, narrower profile than Blue or Norway,1 1/2 foot yr.
Norway Spruce; green drooping branch pattern, fastest growing spruce 2 foot year ave. Will take more shade than Blue spruce.
Available container grown up to 4 1/2 foot.
Pine White Pine fast growing 3 + ft. yr.,good for quick screen but bottom branches will decline over time.
Available up to 5 foot tall.
